Business Opportunities
Oxford City Council has a high profile supplier engagement programme and it is our intention to maximise the opportunities for all types of business to bid for Council contracts through fair and transparent competitive quotation and tender processes.
We work closely with the different business sectors such as small, medium enterprises (SME's) and the voluntary sector to ensure that those organisations have access to information on our contracting opportunities, an understanding of our procurement processes and wherever possible we try and 'package' our contracts in such a way to ensure for example that smaller businesses are not excluded from bidding.
All tender opportunities with a value exceeding £100,000 are automatically advertised on our tender opportunities page.
The Council also works closely with a number of other agencies. Suppliers can also find out more about tender opportunities on the following websites:
Business Link - Practical advice for business

Federation of Small Businesses
