Sites and Housing Proposed Submission Consultation

What is the Proposed Submission stage of the Sites and Housing DPD?

This stage is the publication of the document which we believe is ready to be submitted to the Secretary of State. All the evidence has been gathered, key stakeholders and the community have been engaged with. There is no expectation that any significant changes to the document will be made.

The Proposed Submission is a material consideration in determining planning applications having been agreed for consultation by Council on 19th December 2011.

Consultation on the Proposed Submission has now closed. People who made representations will be contacted in due course by the Programme Officer.

The Sites and Housing Development Plan Document was submitted to the Secretary of State on 11th May 2012.   Included with the submission were all comments received during the Proposed Submission consultation which took place between 10th February and 23rd March 2012. All submission documents and responses to the Proposed Submission will be available here and in local libraries by 21 May 2012.
