The Gallery and Gallery Corridor are spaces within Oxford Town Hall, managed by the Heritage team at Oxford City Council's Museum of Oxford.
The Gallery is a beautiful self-contained space of 12.3m x 7.35m (90 sqm), suitable for hanging work using a hanging rail system with Perlon cables or rods, and for free-standing 3-D work. It is a versatile space suitable for exhibitions, art displays and small trade fairs, and is an exciting example of a sensitive conversion of a Victorian space. This conversion was recognised by the Oxford Preservation Trust in 2007 with the presentation of a certificate.
The Gallery Corridor has an approximate total of 19 sqm of hanging space using a hanging rail and rod system with security hooks for 2-D work only. It is accessible to the public whenever the Town Hall is open.

The Gallery can be hired on a daily rate (this rate also applies to hanging/take-down days). The Gallery schedule for 2012 is fully booked. 2013 has provisional bookings but we are still accepting reserve bookings for some periods.
The Gallery Corridor is hired on a calendar month basis. Bookings are currently available from 2012 onwards.
If you wish to have an opening show for either space, please discuss available times and catering arrangements with a member of the exhibitions team.
Opening times for the Gallery & Gallery Corridor vary according to Town Hall opening times.
