If you don't have access to a computer, you will be able to apply on line from some libraries and County Council building receptions where staff will be able to help you if you get stuck or are unsure of what to do. Where are the Libraries with on line computer facilities?

The scheme entitles people of an eligible age (for a woman this means pensionable age, for a man this means pensionable age of a woman born on the same day) and disabled people who qualify, to free off-peak travel on all local buses anywhere in England.
The duties and powers to administer the concessionary bus pass scheme transferred to Oxfordshire County Council on 1 April 2011. However, from the 1 April 2011 until 31 March 2012 Oxford City Council will continue to administer the concessionary bus pass scheme on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council. You can get a concessionary bus pass if you are of eligible age, or are disabled, and your main residence is in the Oxford City Council boundaries.
The Government has decided that from 6 April 2010, the age of eligibility for concessionary travel for women will be pension age and for men it will be the pensionable age of a woman born on the same day. Visit our Change in Age of Eligibility page for full details.

Until 1 April 2011 Oxford City Council administered a Mandatory Travel Concession Scheme and a Discretionary Travel Concession Scheme in the Oxford area. The duties and powers to administer these schemes transferred to Oxfordshire County Council on 1 April 2011.
Oxfordshire County Council has made arrangements with the Oxford City Council (pursuant to Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 and Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000) for the discharge of the delegated functions to Oxford City Council as agent of the County Council.
This means that for the period from 1 April 2011 until 31 March 2012 Oxford City council will continue to administer the concessionary bus pass scheme on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council.
From 1 April 2011 you will notice that the Bus passes issued to customers in the City Of Oxford are branded with Oxfordshire County Council logos and contact details.
This authority is under a duty to protect the public funds it administers, and to this end may use the information you have provided on this form for the prevention and detection of fraud.
